Trio of Isuzu UTE Vehicles Take Centre Stage at Melbourne Motor Show

Last month, Isuzu UTE Australia (IUA) was proud to be amongst the 25 vehicle manufacturers exhibiting at the sold-out Melbourne Motor Show.

Held for the first time in 15 years, enthusiasts and fans alike flocked to the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre over two days to see the latest and greatest in the Australian Auto Industry.

Taking centre stage on the IUA stand was the locally reengineered D-MAX BLADE, developed by Walkinshaw Automotive in Melbourne to be one of the most capable vehicles to deliver the perfect balance of driving performance and ultimate comfort. Showcased alongside the BLADE was the best-selling D-MAX X-TERRAIN and the new MU-X flagship, the X-TERRAIN.

Speaking to the success of the Melbourne Motor Show, IUA Managing Director, Mr Junta Matsui said, “The return of the Melbourne Motor Show was a great opportunity to showcase our product to the Australian public, marking the Melbourne stand debut of the new MU-X X-TERRAIN.”

“As a brand, we embrace the chance for the public to get up close to our vehicles and see for themselves why the D-MAX and MU-X are so compatible with the Australian lifestyle.”

Showgoers looking to experience both the D-MAX and MU-X’s capabilities first-hand were in luck, with the Iron Summit delighting those who dared to ride the steep 45-degree custom-built hydraulic ramp.

“It was particularly impressive that our daring Iron Summit saw a record number of rides over the weekend with more than 1,400 people enjoying the impressive display of our two vehicles' abilities,” said Mr Matsui.

Both the D-MAX BLADE and X-TERRAIN along with the new MU-X X-TERRAIN will be on display at several shows across the country throughout the year, including Agfest held in Launceston first weekend of May and the legendary Deni UTE Muster later in October.
